Hi all members and supporters of the NZ Outdoors & Freedom Party.
Our NZ Outdoors & Freedom Party AGM will be held at the Mount Community Center, 345 Maunganui Rd, Mount Manganui. Saturday 7th May. 12.30pm - 5pm for formal proceedings, with an opportunity for a casual meal together afterwards. Party members and supporters welcome, but if you wish to vote, you'll have to be a member on the day.
Due to Covid restrictions, it has been tricky to find a venue but we really wanted to hold the AGM in Tauranga as we'll be working to raise Sue's profile here. There are lots of accommodation options close by and, of course, the famous Mount beaches and hot pools.
If you want to continue the conversation after the AGM, we'll put on a simple buffet meal (+ desert) - beautiful curries by one of our members, a chef mandated out of her job - at the venue around 6pm. Please pre-book and pre-pay so we know exactly how many we're catering for. $30pp
Please advise if you will be attending the AGM and also book your meal by emailing tracy.livingston@outdoorsparty.co.nz
Please also send apologies and requests for more information to that email.
The following day, Sunday 8th May, we are promoting a Freedom Fun Day. A picnic on the lawn event with music and speeches at the Waterfront Reserve, harbour side of the railway across from the Strand, downtown Tauranga. Local artists, as well as our very own talented singer/songwriter Aly Cook will be performing. We're hoping to have a sausage sizzle on the go as well. Please join us and bring a picnic lunch/afternoon tea, your family and friends. We've love to have a waste free event so if possible BYO coffee cups, plates etc. 12pm-4pm (with perhaps a drink downtown for the grownups once we've had a clean up).
