The NZ Outdoors Party Walk the Walk.

For the past three weeks Sue and Alan have been touring the country. The tour has been titled “Walk, Chalk and Talk- Outdoors Party Tour” and they are asking the question – “where is your line in the sand?” They are being met with a great response and membership is increasing hugely every day. This follows Alan & Sue's successful November nationwide 5G tour of 22 towns drawing audiences of up to 350 people.

Up to now most New Zealanders have not thought too much about their freedom. We have taken for granted that we live in a democracy and our fundamental rights would always be protected. However, the past few months have been a big shakeup. We have come to realise how tenuous these rights are and how easily a Government can pull them out from under us if they so wish.

This has propelled freedom and democracy to the forefront of our campaign. The party has been working hard to create a Constitution that we could bring into Government with us. We need our basic rights such as freedom of speech, freedom of movement, freedom to choose medical treatment and freedom to choose with whom we associate enshrined in law and held above all other laws.

We have always described ourselves as "A peoples party by the people for the people" That means we dont accept funding / donations from corporates who wish to influence our policies or us when we make it into parliament.  We will never have the millions to spend like the big parties but we can make up for it with imagination, people volunteering and frugal spending. Our candidates and board members all pay their own way so anything you choose to donate goes directly to signs and brochures. The more we can raise the more we can get spread around the country.  Many thanks. Alan.
